Crate Tube Amp or Marshall combo amp?

I'm getting an amp and am haggling over a tube or solid-state amp. I want to sound like Angus Young on a budget. Will the tube amp give me more of that Angus sound or should I get a Marshall and add a distortion pedal? I'm not picky about the "audio

A $5 purchase and worth it if you want to loop something in. We've found that this amp really works well just setting it up for a particular guitar and just going with it. We've also used it with just a GE-7 EQ on the front end. It does have an effects loop which requires a TRS to 2 Mono 1/4" jacks.
