How do I take the drum wrap off of a ddrum diablo kit?

I have a cheap ddrum diablo 5 piece kit that I mess around with (because my "real set" is a white (no sparkle or anything) 1972 Slingerland set which includes a 24" kick and an 18" floor tom and the set is in near perfect condition)
For starters you will probably need a heat gun as it's sealed to the drum itself. Then get a nice hand sander (electric or a bunch of fine sand paper would work) to sand off the left on glue.
But you will need a heat gun.
Good
