Snare Drumheads?

I have a Ddrum SD4 Snare and the top head is a Evans G2 coated and the bottom head is a Remo Ambassador. Is it okay for the bottom head to be different than the top? If I changed the bottom to Evans, would I get a different sound? Thanks!

you would get a different sound
now i am assuming you are using a concert/drum set snare
most drummers bith grade school-college-professional drummers will use the coated kinda rough top head with a clear bottom head for better connectivity
